When I was 14 I asked my parents for a camera. They got me a Kodak Instamatic. With that in my pocket, I hopped on my bike and headed down to one of the most photographed natural phenomenon in the world that was but a 10 minute ride away, Niagara Falls. I kept playing with that camera for a few years until a relative’s Canon viewfinder landed in my lap. Then life happened and my attention was taken up by other pressing personal matters. Fast forward to today, I’ve returned to those analogue days with an expanded understanding of photographic processes.
